Solidified Light
Solidified light
Lies scattered in broken chunks
All across the ground.
Rain?
Another blue sky
And monotonous sunshine.
I miss rainy days.
Dancing Tree
Trees sway in rhythm
To the wind, but their shadows
Listen to the sun.
Fragile Morning
The fragile quiet
Of the morning is shattered
By the rising sun.
Sun vs. Trees
A stream of sunlight
Surges through a thick dense growth
Of swaggering trees.
Aural Sunrise
Beyond the thick dark
I can hear the rising of
The susurrant sun.
Vertical Blinds
Striated sunlight
Slashes heavy-lidded eyes
With benign intent.
Untitled Haiku
No matter how dark
The night can get the sun will
Rise in the morning.
Dawn
The steadfast sun cuts
Through the diaphanous dark
And reclaims the day.
